Carry Concealed Weapons (CCW) Class

We offer both initial CCW and refresher CCW training and qualifications classes. The initial CCW training is 16 hours long and the refresher CCW training is eight (8) hours long. The courses includes both classroom and range components. Our courses are certified for the surrounding counties, and we are rapidly expanding the list of accredited counties.

CCW Initial Courses are TWO days of classroom (held Tuesday and Wednesday from 6-10pm in Loomis) AND range qualification the following weekend.

CCW Renewal Course is ONE day of classroom (held Thursday from 6-10pm in Loomis) AND range qualification the following weekend.

Goals

Our classes are designed to meet your county’s requirements, and our goal is to prepare you for the responsibility of carrying a weapon in public.  The focus will be on handgun safety, legal requirements, use of force decision making, and carry options. There will be discussions on situational awareness, and whether deadly force was justified, and if the amount of deadly force employed was appropriate to the situation discussed. Upon completion students will have a better understanding of how to address a critical situation while carrying a concealed firearm.
