Level 2 Handgun Safety
This class is designed for individuals who have been through the Level 1 handgun course (or equivalent).
Prerequisite: Successful completion of a basic handgun course from BAFT or equivalent from a BAFT recognized school. Current LE/MIL exempt.
Subjects covered include:
Malfunction drills
Multiple target engagement at speed
One handed shooting, both strong and weak hand
reloading drills
Review of basics (shooting stance, grip and trigger manipulation, proper loading and unloading, presenting the handgun from the holster)
Varied distance shooting
Varied distance shooting from 1- 10 yards
Goals
Our classes are designed to teach individuals who have been through a basic pistol curse and want to transition to another level of training. We will build on the skills learned in the Level 1 class (or equivalent) and introduce the student to reloading and malfunction clearing drills, and transitioning between multiple targets while maintaining proper shooting techniques and practicing handgun safety.

Cleaned and Oiled Handgun
Ear Protection (preferable electronic)
Eye Protection
Leather gun belt (or other appropriate material)
Leather or kydex (strong –side) belt or inside the waistband Holster Note: the holster MUST cover the trigger and trigger guard.
