Level 3 Handgun Safety
This class is designed for individuals who have been through the Level 2 handgun course (or equivalent). This is a higher-level intermediate course that will further develop the shooting skills learned in the Level 2 course.
Prerequisite: Successful completion of a level 2 handgun course from BAFT or equivalent from a BAFT recognized school. Current LE/MIL exempt.
Subjects covered include:
Malfunction clearance at speed
Multiple threat engagement
One-handed shooting - both strong and weak hand
Rapid target engagement
Review of existing skills
Shooting from 1 yard with a Speed Rock drill
Shooting on the move
Varied distance shooting from 1- 50 yards
Goals
Our classes are designed to build on the skills learned in the Level 2 class (or equivalent) to further develop shooting skills. This is a higher-level intermediate course that emphasizes safety while balancing speed and accuracy. The student will develop a higher level of shooting proficiency and an appreciation for the challenges of engaging multiple targets at speed and at different distances, long distance shooting at speed and transitioning from strong to weak hand when applicable.

200 rounds per weapon
Cleaned and Oiled Handgun
Ear Protection (preferable electronic)
Eye Protection
Leather gun belt (or other appropriate material)
Leather or kydex (strong –side) belt or inside the waistband Holster Note: the holster MUST cover the trigger and trigger guard.
Magazine pouch
Three or more magazines
